Vienna Woods is sad to mark the passing of our long time Snack Bar Manager, Ms. Beddie Decker.. Beddie is a beloved member of our VW family for over 25 years. She was especially proud of our young snack bar workers and taught many teenagers how to work hard, work as a team and focus on great food and customer service. Visitation will be on Monday, March 6th, 5pm-8pm- Adams Green Funeral Home Herndon Va. Graveside services on Tuesday, March 7th 11am Herndon Cemetery

Spring Shareholder Meeting will be held Saturday, April 22nd at 4pm, the club, rain or shine..

Reservation of the grove/parties: Grove reservations will be accepted at the pool front desk beginning May 15th. Please contact our pool manager, Nancy Wanzer, by email poolmanager@viennawoods.org, or at the front desk, beginning May 15th. if you are interested in reserving the grove. There is a small fee for grove rental which MUST be paid ahead of time.

2023 Dues Statements: Dues statements were mailed (and emailed) in January 2023. Please postmark forms and dues payment of $695 or non-use fee of $100 is due by March 5th. A late fee of $50 is charged to any payments postmarked after March 5th. The late fee increases to $75 after April 15th. Please include the late fee whether you plan to pay your dues or rent your share. Note, as always, if your share cannot be rented, you will be responsible for the full dues.

Photos: Family photos are being accepted by email. Please use your last name as the file name (ex. Smith123) and email photos to gwomack@viennawoods.org. If a photo was submitted in the last year or two, new photos are not needed for the upcoming season.

Renters/Waitlist: To be added to the wait list to purchase, please send a $100 non-refundable, non-transferable check payable to Vienna Woods to PO Box 33, Vienna, VA 22183. Please include your address, email address, cell and home phone numbers. This fee is applied to the initiation fee at the time of share purchase.

About our club

In The News

Vienna Woods Swim and Tennis Club, founded in 1959, is an outdoor swim and tennis facility located on six acres in southwest Vienna. The pool entrance is located at Harmony and Plum streets, SW. We have a lovely 50-meter pool that also measures 25-meters across the diving well. Our diving well has two one-meter diving boards and a three-meter-high dive. The best full-service snack bar in Vienna is adjacent to the bathhouse. There is also a large picnic grove with shaded tables and swings, a sandbox and a sand volleyball court. The club competes in the Northern Virginia Swim League and offers competitive swimming and diving opportunities for children through age 18.

There are five tennis courts, three of which are lighted year-round, (2 non-lighted courts include pickelball lines) and are located at 950 Desale Street. Junior and adult tennis programs typically begin in early spring and continue into the fall under the direction of our tennis pro. Vienna Woods is a member of the Northern Virginia Tennis League.

Vienna Woods Swim Team is competing in Division 3 and the Dive Team in Division 1 in 2022! Registration is now open for Summer Swim and Dive. Please click on Swim & Dive above.

Rules Highlights:

Failure to follow rules may cause suspension of privileges
NO arguing with Staff
EVERYONE Must sign in
Guests Must be accompanied by a Member or Renter
Guests must present a Guest Pass
Do Not Change Diapers on the pool deck, grassy areas or snack bar - only in locker rooms
If a child is not toilet-trained, appropriate swim/water diapers MUST be worn under the swimsuit

Vienna Woods takes Member, Renter. and Guest safety as first priority, Everyone except guards and staff must exit the facility if lightning is seen or thunder is heard. There is a 30 minutes wait before allowing operations to resume. If there is another clap of thunder or lightning is seen again, the clock is restarted. Should the National Weather Service issue a Severe Thunderstorm or Tornado Warning all operations shall be stopped during the duration of the warning. Weather alerts post to the club's Facebook Page.
